Biography

Graduated from the Production Faculty of the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography named after N. K. Cherkasov, specializing as a costume artist-technologist (Department of Stage Technology and Engineering). 

From 1991 to 2017, she worked at the Mariinsky Theatre as the chief costume technologist. 

As a costume designer, she has worked on over 100 productions in drama, opera, and ballet theatres. 

She participated in creating costumes for the Closing Ceremony of the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi. 

As a lecturer, she teaches classes on the history of costume and the technology of theatrical costume making at the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet and the Boris Eifman Dance Academy. 

  • Laureate of the Crystal Mask Award ("A Plague on Both Your Houses", 1999)
  • Laureate of the Golden Mask Award 2017-2018 for Best Costume Design in Musical Theatre (ballet "Cinderella", Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre)
  • Laureate of the Golden Mask Award 2019-2020 for Best Costume Design in Musical Theatre (ballet "The Fountain of Bakhchisarai", Samara Opera and Ballet Theatre)
